Introduction
From time to time a story finds me that has a profound impact upon me. “The Dragon’s Tear,” an original story by storyteller Dan Keding, is one such story. I happened upon Dan’s story first in the book, The Healing Heart—Communities, by Allison Cox and David H. Albert, and then on Dan’s storytelling CD, “Promises Kept, Promises Broken” (dankeding.com). Dan has graciously given me permission to tell his story in this edition of Heart Tales News. Here’s the story followed by my reflections upon it.
